Ausherman

Ausherman Homes	Ausherman Homes was founded by Ernest W. Ausherman of Frederick, Maryland in 1951, and continued by his son, Marvin E. Ausherman through 2003. At that time, the family sold the business to Drees Homes, headquartered in Fort Mitchell, Kentucky.
	Drees was founded by Theodore Drees in 1928, and continued by his son, Ralph Drees. Today, David Drees, a third generation descendant of the company's founder, leads Drees Homes as the nation's 27th largest homebuilder.
	Ausherman Development Corporation was founded in 1986, and continued by Marvin E. Ausherman. The Corporation develops land for residential developments and commercial properties. They also develop, lease and manage commercial buildings. Each of Marvin's children have worked with him, and currently, his son Justin E. Ausherman manages the commercial projects.
	The Ausherman Family Foundation was established in 2006 by Marvin and Lisa Ausherman to fulfill their vision for Frederick County, Maryland. That vision is a dynamic society where committed individuals and institutions work together to ensure that the needs of all are met. The Foundation’s mission to be a catalyst for change is both local and global.
