Theodore Drees started building homes in 1928 and
earned a reputation as a tireless worker and craftsman who built homes
of superior quality. Quality has always been the cornerstone as the
company grew in the 1960's under Theodore's son, Ralph. Today, Drees
Homes is one of the most respected homebuilders in America, building
about 3,000 homes a year in nine metropolitan areas. Drees has won
all three top honors the building industry awards its peers: Builder
of the Year, the National Housing Quality Award, and America's Best
Builder.
